Digital Artefact on Home Care Medical Support Application

Feedback Review on Social Media Participation

Feedback Overview

In order to be able to look at the various aspects that will contribute towards the establishment of a successful home care medical application platform, it is good to look into getting feedback from social platforms through engaging with people (Comcowich 2020). In my analysis approach for the creation and development of the application, I looked into the aspect of public participation through using various questions in assessing the probable impact of the application in the general society. The focus research point was through engaging the public on social media to gain their views on certain elements about the development, launch, and viability of the application to the public. This was conducted through the use of several questions that were aimed at addressing various aspects of the three phases that involve media platforms, public participation, and social utilities. The results of the research findings are as shown below.

  1.  Iteratively Problem Engagement to Emergent Media

Focus Questions:

  1. Do you think the introduction of the Home Care Medical Support Application will fulfill the iterative engagement aspect?

Yes

No

  1. What do you think is the best way to assess the impact of the application’s iterative engagements?

Analysis

Testing

Designing

All the above

The above question and the probable result answers were the key focus that was shared with the public on social media to try and receive their feedback. The main approach for the feedback in this section was regarding the application being able to efficiently solve the iterative problem by use of various emerging media sources. The important part is to develop and research on the various ways that a solution can be directly effective in giving solutions to the people (Eby 2019). Through researching and using various approaches of collecting information helps in creating effective solutions that support iterative engagements (Asana 2021). The results of this research questions were as follows;

According to the result that was shared through the process of engaging the public, it is positive to say that the public opinion for the capacity of the home care medical application to fulfill the capacity of an iterative problem solution is very much accepted. From the results, we can see that 82% of the participants were in agreement that the application will be able to engage the people through the emerging media sources which will work towards impacting the iterative problem engagement positively. This is a good sign because a large percentage of people from the poll results are in agreement with the solution about the application. Through this poll process for this specific approach, it is important to find out why some of the participants who registered 18% from the results indicated. This is important because it indicated that they were very much concerned about something or an issue about the capacity of the application in offering a complete solution towards iterative problem engagement.

According to the software development life cycle (2016), the process of developing an application that will offer great value to the people has to have the capacity to effectively deal with a specified problem and offer effective solutions. Some of the important factors that are related to the capability of an application like home care medical application need to be focused on directly through which good solution will be offered. The perspective view on the generated results by the participants is an indication that most of them are satisfied with the fact that the application will provide the necessarily required solutions indicated. For the application to be seen to be effective according to the expectation of the public, repeated testing and adjustment of the prototype layout through various levels needs to be maintained (Lake, Lehman, and Chamberlain 2019). This is very important because it gives the surety that the application will work to solve the problems that it is designed to encounter.

From the research results, the participants have a clear view of the possibility of the application being able to utilize emerging media and technology in engaging positively with iterative problems. The indication on the results by the participant shows that they believe that the application is offering a very important solution and through the incorporation of the application into the daily lives of the people various aspects to medical problems will get a good solution. One of the important factors in approaching the iterative engagement design towards various problems is to ensure that the adjustments for the application are done within the shortest time possible. Sometimes t may be costly to fix the application when it is already implemented but by the use of early testing and modification the costly part of changing the application much later is avoided. Therefore the use of online research testing assists in giving a probability aspect that allows for good feedback over the use of the application and the necessary adjustments can be creatively amended and implemented before the final application product is launched officially.

2.  Public Participation through the Development Process

In ensuring that the public is engaged in the decision making in the development of a community or society program ensure that factors that will affect the public through the solution provided will be adequate addressed (United Nations ESCAP 2008). In the process of building development changes and including the opinions of certain factors that support public participation in the creating of the home care medical application platform, the following questions formed the target focus. They were used to engage with various participants who gave their feedback based on these questions.

Focus Questions:

  1. Is public participation important in the development of a solution that will affect people?

Yes

No

  1. What is not need in the process of public participation in development?

Collecting feedback

Creating policies that support solutions

Find ways to share the revenues from the application

Building trust from the people

Public participation in the creation process and development of a product or solution that will affect the public either directly or indirectly is very important to get and gather their opinions. The listed questions above were the avenue that I used to engage with the public to find out the importance of including public participation in the development of this application. From my perspective view, I knew that this application is going to be used by the people and it will add value towards the successful development of the application through incorporating public opinion and participation in the building and development process. The results received from the poll engagement were as follows;

From the above results, we can see that there is a very big positive response from the people who participated in the polling process. This is a very positive indication that a lot of people are in favor of their opinions and suggestions to be placed into consideration when a product or application is being developed for which they will be the end-user beneficiary. The home care medical application is important in the process of assisting people to access medical services and medication more easily. It is from this perspective that the inclusion of public participation is taking a very high percentage in the agreement prospect stage of participation. Of the participants who took part in the survey, 98% were in agreement with the inclusion of the element of public participation. In the process of the poll results being collected 2% of the participants did not agree with the inclusion of public participation in the development process of the application.

The 98% response rate from the polls was an overwhelming figure that shows a majority of the people would very much prefer their opinions and contributions to be included in the development of the application. The 2% participant response is a small figure compared to the 98% figure but it cannot be overlooked or neglected. The home care medical application is a solution that is designed to offer everyone an opportunity to use it for their benefit when it comes to looking for online medical services. Therefore it is important to have various consideration points and channels that will work towards achieving a 100% public participation agreement by the people. From the perspective of The United States, Environmental Protection Agency on public participation is that for the environment to be cleaned and protected the incorporation of opinions from the people affected in a specific given environment is very important. It is through this observation point that I view the development and testing of the home care medical application need the incorporation of various participants from the public. The results and model that support the growth of a product or application that is going to be used by a majority of the people in public requires the effective participation of these people in the development and testing phases. The feedback that they will give will work towards making the various changes that will allow the application to be more efficient and effective for everyone.

3.  Clearly Defined Social Utilities

An application like home acre medical care application needs to have the capacity to fulfill and meet the defined parameters in social utilities. In the process of achieving social utility through the use of the application by the people, it needs to offer elements that support conformity, understanding and public relations that are designed to offer good access to health services for the people (School of Public Health 2016). It is through this perspective that I asked the following questions to gain public feedback on social utilities in regards to the home care application.

Focus Questions:

  1. What does not support social utilities?

Creating a user-friendly application

Providing support in the implementation of the service

Forcing users to always be online

Providing resources and feedback that would help users

  1. Is the Home Care Medical Support Application able to meet the demands of social utilities as demonstrated?

Yes

No

In the prospect of social norms, a lot of activities are usually carried out to offer value in the lives of people. Sometimes the concept value of social norms may not be understood by many people but its presence offers great importance in understanding how social norms are affected by understanding the impact of social utilities in society (Cambon, Djouari, and Beauvois 2006). It is through this perspective that I chose to engage with the public in regards to the implementation of the home care medical application through the use of the above-indicated questions. The results from the poll collection were as follow;

The results indicated above show that there were a good number of people who saw that the home care application will be able to offer a good understanding and engagement into social utilities. According to the polls, 77% of the participants were in agreement with the approach that the homecare application will very much be positive in achieving the elements that support social utilities in society. A figure of 23% of the participants was not in agreement that the application will be able to meet the desired social utility factor. One of the elements that the participants pointed out in large numbers is the fact that in the social utility approach is not good to have a system whereby people are forced into using something that they either do not know or do not add value to their lives. It is therefore important to build and create an application that will seek to show and give value to the people. In the emerging technologies such as social media platforms the norm of social utilities has greatly been affected in various ways (Pombriant 2018). It is by this instance that the home care medical application is looking at using such platforms in creating awareness about it solution so that the public can be able to know and understand more about it.

4. Conclusion

What I found out from my research questions with the various participants is that the successful development of an application and subsequent launch to the people is very much determined by the reception that the people will give it. The more people understand the usage and value of a product or application the more they will want to engage with it. It is very important that through the development of the home care medical application platform the inclusion of public participation and other parties whom the application is looking to engage with the need to be included in the development process. The method approach of including public participation will work towards giving the application a better inclusion in the process of reinforcing social utility norms which will be very important in allowing people to understand more about the application. The values on the application that are designed to give to the public are what will allow the application to grow and thrive. By looking into and focusing on fixing some of the limitations that the application may experience I will be able to offer a great platform to the public. Therefore in the development progress of the home care medical application, it is essential to take into consideration the feedback information from the poll research and implement them in the application.
