THE FUTURE EFFECTS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)

  1. Introduction

The purpose of this study is to try and understand as much as possible the outcome and effects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in various aspects of the global market and human life. In the current and future life expectancy, it is estimated that Artificial Intelligence will a key role in various sectors across the world. Factors such as Autonomous vehicles, language processing, machine learning, and quantum computing will be an important driving force that will facilitate the growth of Artificial intelligence in the coming 5 to 10 years (Baidu).

The increase in machine learning and cloud computing has shed light on the fact that Artificial Intelligence can be used efficiently in situations where human interaction is limited. In the next 5 to 10 years it is estimated that artificial intelligence with fewer and fewer human factors will be into play (Clough). In the next 20 years, we will see a lot of automation in very many industries. The automotive industry looks to benefit more from the creation of autonomous vehicles. According to Tesla motors they plan to launch Cybertruck by 2022 (Szymkowski). These vehicles will be fully electrical and autonomous. It is estimated that Tesla motors have embarked on building massive big factories for these vehicles which will be driven by demand.

  • Project focus

In my digital artifact presentation I will look into the following elements;

  • A short-term basis of 10 to 15 years looks into the future of Artificial Intelligence.
  • The long-term impact of Artificial Intelligence Going into 20 years and more.
  • Behaviors, ethics, and issues that surround the use of Artificial Intelligence.

These are some of the focus channels that I will use to try and shed light on the future of Artificial Intelligence in human beings.

  • Progress

 To gauge the progress of the research I plan to use my blog post on assessing the feedback and understanding of the people about Artificial Intelligence. Facebook and Twitter are important in my research to try and come up with a precise conclusion. The project engagement through the audience research feedback will be through social media and blog posts.

  • Iteration/changes

I will have a consistent feedback loop to monitor the progress of my research. In my future focus of the iteration/changes I have a timeline of 5 to 15 years. Through this process, I will be able to assess the different variations of the project findings. It will assist in making the necessary changes to have the best maximum results from the research. The important element of my research is to ensure that I capture all the dynamics that are involved through any changes.

  • Production Timeline

The project timeline will be the duration of two weeks too able to gather all the relevant research information accordingly to the findings. The purpose of these findings will be placed in terms of study and understanding artificial intelligence in the current and future phases of human life.

  • Conclusion

Understanding the effect and impact of Artificial intelligence in the future is very important. Artificial Intelligence has penetrated a lot of our lives in different aspects. Therefore it is important to understand its impact and placement in our lives currently and 10 to 20 years into the future.

An artificial intelligence digital assistant known as ADA was launched by Peak Indicators towards the end the year 2020. The purpose of this digital artificial intelligence application was to streamline and improve the data analysis in the Human Resource professional field. It is expected that from 2021 ADA will start playing a significant role in helping organization in managing human resource processes.

  1. Hi Arsllan, I like how you want to understand artificial intelligence in global market and human life.I think these factors are really good to discuss on ! In your video, you have given example of Tesla company launching Cybertruck by 2022 (Szymkowski) which is basically next year. Thus, I believe you would like to talk about the artificial intelligence of Tesla cars. It would have been more clear if you layout the specific things for the specific period of time you did the research.Your DA topic is interesting. I am looking forward to it 🙂

  2. Hi Arsllan,

    I like the choice of topic of AI but it seems like it is too board. It lacks organization and focus. I suggest you to rethink which approach you are looking at for AI, since it is a huge subject to talk about if you don’t narrow down your focus. Also, I suggest you to create slides for clearer presentation and film horizontally for easily viewing experience. (I have to turn my head to look at your notes)

    For Natural language processing, you can look into how it could help disabled individual’s lives. Natural language processing helps computers communicate with humans in their own language and scales other language-related tasks. For example, NLP makes it possible for computers to read text, hear speech, interpret it, measure sentiment and determine which parts are important.

    For Auto vehicles, you can of course look into Tesla, one of the biggest company that produce successful automatic driven vehicles. And also some failed examples like Google car, which is a automatic car project google decided to stop developing.

    You mentioned some example with the use of AI technology, I suggest you to focus on either language processing or auto vehicle. These two examples could lead you to more information for constructing your DA. Machine Learning and Quantum computer seems to be less relevant to our subjects, and as they are very complicated, I am not sure if you could summarized science theories and concept into a DA project. In a short period of time, it could be very difficult and adding a lot of workload upon yourself.
